PROFESSIONAL MIXED MARTIAL ARTS NOW LEGAL IN MICHIGAN

The State of Michigan has now legalized competitive MMA in Michigan after years of legal wrangling. The state, by an overwhelming decision has now expanded the Boxing Commission to incorporate Mixed Martial Arts. 

Now known as The Unarmed Combat Commission, the Commission and its new leader, Dr. James Webber will carry the same responsibilities as did the Boxing Commission for the last several decades.

The Palace of Auburn Hills, in Auburn Hills, Michigan has announced they will host the first Mixed Martial Arts cage fight event with Professional fighters on January 30, 2010 with promoter Joseph Donofrio and The Impact Fight League.
